Evening Guild Progressive Dinner

The Evening Guild Progressive Dinner will take place on Sunday, July 1 beginning at approximately 4:30 PM.
Hosts will be:
Salads: Deb Sandberg home
Main Course: Mona Heindl home
Dessert & Campground afterglow: Bonnie James “summer home”
Spouses/guests/significant others are all invited to this casual, fun-filled event.

Reflection Brunch

On Sunday, July 8 we will celebrate our Reflection Sunday with a special service at 9:30 AM. We will be honoring all of our members who have reached the age of 80 years or more. Following the service a brunch will be served in the church basement. Come and be a part of this celebration for these members who have given so much of their time and talents to the Lord’s work over the past years. Everyone is invited! Bring a dish to pass and stay for the brunch. If anyone has turned 80 and is not on this list, please call the church office as soon as possible. Here are the names that we have:

Evening Guild Committee Members: Judy Ontl, Carol Pierce, Mona Heindl and Jean Zeman.
Guild members are asked to help prepare/serve luncheon.
The committee will contact Guild members with additional information.

Thank You

A warm and loving thank you to everyone for the cares, concerns, thoughts and prayers extended to Viola Goldberg during her sudden illness and to our family upon her passing. A special thank you to Pastor Ader for his support and comfort during this difficult time. Also a special thank you to the ladies of St. John for the wonderful lunch prepared and served following Viola’s funeral. We appreciate all of you and wish you all God’s blessing.

Evening Guild Upcoming Events

Thursday, August 2

Neighborhood Table at St. John Episcopal Church
Committee Members: Bonnie James & Judy Shepard.

All ladies are asked to participate by helping to make the main course, side-dishes and desserts. Help is needed to cook, serve, wait tables and clean up. A sign up sheet will be on the table in the narthex. The congregation will also be asked to volunteer time and talent.

Saturday, August 4

Cookout at Copp’s
Committee Members: Anita Westfall, Judy Shepard, Linda Lindaas, Marianne Timm, Barb Lundquist and Judy Ontl.

Thursday, August 23

Evening Guild Meeting-7:00 PM
Devotions: Mona Heindl
Servers: Fran Kostyn and Mona Heindl
Program: Sarah Nordhaugen will share her mission experiences.
