Call Committee Report

After many months of prayerful diligent work, the Call Committee made a recommendation at the May 19, 2005 congregational meeting to extend a divine call to Pastor Stephen Wipperman. Pastor Wipperman is currently serving with the District Office in Minnesota.

The congregation voted to extend a call to Pastor Wipperman and the call documents were mailed to Pastor Wipperman on May 20, 2005. A response can be expected within 3-5 weeks.

We ask for the continued prayers, support and patience of the congregation through this process. The Holy Spirit is at work and will continue to guide us to our new Shepherd. Thank you. The Call Committee.

VBS Donations Needed

VBS Camp Creation is looking for used candles. Candles that you think “what are they good for?”, we could probably use. We would also take pieces of paraffin wax to be melted down. Put your candles by the Camp Creation display in the back of church. Thank you for taking the time to look around and donate. It helps keep our cost down when we recycle. We will accept donations up to the week before Camp, and then we will have to purchase what we need.

Each family is asked to please bring a large dish to pass and their own plates and silverware. There will be children’s games, adult bingo and a cakewalk. Cake donations will be greatly appreciated.
